A diploma is one way for SPM graduates to pursue secondary education. On average, diploma studies last up to 24 months or more. Diploma certificates are also recognized locally and abroad if the student is claiming a degree. Employment prospects are also better once a student earns a diploma.
To fulfill the dreams of students, Queens College offers a competitive stream of diploma studies. All our diploma programmes are certified by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET ) includes formal, non-formal and informal learning that prepares young people with the knowledge and skills needed in the world of employment.
Regardless of the name, a common feature of TVET as determined by UNESCO is that it involves “ in addition to general education, technology and related science studies as well as the acquisition of practical skills, attitudes, understanding, and employment-related knowledge in various sectors of economics and social life”. At TVET, young people have the opportunity to learn from the ground floor to the extension in various institutional and employment arrangements.
