The Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance (DFB) is a two and half-year programme that serves the purpose to introduce students to the Islamic banking and financial system. This programme provides most of the knowledge and skills needed in the Islamic banking and financial system today. Students will be exposed with the operational aspects of Islamic banking institutions and how it can fulfill the financing requirements of the customers.  As the programme emphasizes self-initiated learning and hands-on competencies, graduates of this programme will be ready to take the challenges and competitions in the Islamic banking world.

This Diploma program is recognized by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and is accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates  have the opportunity to work in the Islamic banking institutions and other institutions related to finance and banking.

 

DURATION & CREDIT HOURS

 2  ½ years and 90 credit hours

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

SPM with 3 credit in any subject and a passed  in Mathematics or any equivalent qualification
