About Course

To become an ACCA member, a student will have to embark on an exciting ACCA Qualification journey.  This journey will include a combination of exams, ethics, and experience.  The ACCA Qualification prepares its graduates to enter today’s fast-paced business world, workplace-ready. The ACCA Qualification will prepare a financial professional with the most up-to-date skills with a much deeper and more rounded approach than the purely technical one.  Queens College is committed to nurturing quality graduates who are ready for employment as soon as they leave the Queens Campus.  Subjects that develop the soft skills of students have been incorporated into the ACCA syllabus with the aim to prepare Queens College students with a range of graduate-level skills required for the job market.  These include research methodology, critical thinking, evaluation and analysis skills, professional presentation and communication skills, and PowerPoint Skills.

Course Requirements

  • Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2, and


  1. Passed ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA-FIA) OR

  2. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two subjects, and obtain credit in Mathematics at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level OR

  3. Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid (good) and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level OR

  4. Passed a Diploma in Accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 OR

  5. Matriculation/ Foundation Programme or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level OR

  6. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia


Note: Honour’s requirements in Mathematics at SPM level for candidates (i) and (iii) can be waived if the qualifications in Mathematics and their achievement are equivalent/ more require credit for the subject at SPM level.
